1. Free your licence
If you might use DockPal on another Mac, go to Settings › About › Licence and choose Deactivate on This Mac first.
2. Quit and delete the app
Click the corgi icon in your menu bar and quit DockPal. Then drag DockPal from Applications to the Trash.
That removes the app, but your settings and diary stay until you delete them. Keep them if you might come back.
3. Delete what it stored
In Finder, choose Go › Go to Folder…, then paste each of these and delete it:
~/Library/Preferences/com.vikaskalwani.DockPal.plist: settings, statistics, licence activation and update-check times.~/Library/Application Support/DockPal/: the diary and any custom pet packs.~/Library/Group Containers/3TXACPACJV.com.vikaskalwani.DockPal/: the widget’s summary.~/Library/Caches/com.vikaskalwani.DockPal/: the update-check cache and any downloaded update.~/Library/HTTPStorages/com.vikaskalwani.DockPal/: network storage macOS may keep for update checks.
If you back up your Mac, these items are in your backups too, which only you control.
4. Check its permissions
If you gave DockPal access to your calendar, Downloads folder or Full Disk Access, you can remove it from the list in System Settings › Privacy & Security.
